This story is way different from the movie. The book is about a kid going through tough times because he has been blamed of stealing a famous baseball player's shoes. When he did not steal anything. the boy's name is Stanley Yelnats. If you like this short summary why don't you just read the book. If you liked the movie you will like the book. This book is about a boy named Charlie who really wants to go to Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory. The Mysterious Benedict Society by Stewart, Trenton Lee.

This book is about four kids that have one thing special about them. One is really good at solving problems, the second is good at memorizing things, the third is good at getting out of things like if you are trapped and one of Mr. Benedict' twin's evil men are trying to capture the kids, and the forth kid is good at telepathy and reading minds. This book is about a boy named Harry Potter. His parents died when he was little. They were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort. Voldemort tried to kill Harry but the curse rebounded off Harry and hit Voldemort instead. Voldemort was hurt very badly and went into hiding. Harry now lives with his Uncle Vernon and his Aunt Petunia and his cousin Dudley. Harry gets a letter that tells him he has been accepted to the wizard school called Hogwarts. It is a good book and you should read it if you like fantasy books.

The Million Dollar Kick by Gutman, Dan.

"The Million Dollar Kick" was a great book. It is about a girl named Whisper Nelson. Her little sister got straight A's on her report card and went to doughnut city for a doughnut. When they are there they see a cardboard cut out of the goalie for there city's professional soccer team. The cardboard cut out of the goalie said "make one pass me win 1 million dollars." Will she enter the competition and of she wins will she macke the kick in to the goal. Read the book to find out.
